Increased picture quality
The latest advances in microelectronics have been incorporated immediately into the camera design. For example, a new CCD Chip guarantees even brighter extraoral pictures both in full face and in the smile line area. The brighter illumination produces pictures of greater colour fidelity even intraorally. The increased efficiency of the VistaCam reduces picture interference, and depicts colours more accurately which in turn produces an lifelike depiction of the periodontium. VistaCam Digital is the first fully digital intraoral camera that can create a live image without an additional base station directly via USB 2.0 in the PC or laptop – now without foot pedal.

Ergonomic actuation by handThe VistaCam Digital is equipped with a 360˚control sensor, enabling the perfect use of the functions Still/Live and Save in all scanning situations. Even in the molar range of the upper jaw, this intraoral camera saves images without shaking with an excellent quality. The operator twists the camera, not the hand: Slight pressure on the 360˚sensor freezes the image, a stronger pressure saves it. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adapted individually to each operator.
Economical integration in the surgery
The cable-operated camera has a USB plug with an additional power supply. The separate power supply does not require PCs conforming to MPG guidelines. Integration into workstations will thus present no problems nor consequently will upgrading of existing treatment units in accordance with MPG.
